The product is designed to be used in medium and small scale greenhouses producing with soilless agriculture. Thanks to the domestic software used in the product, unlike its peers, it prevents overdosing, minimizes user-induced errors and increases the yield in the crop. The final product that will emerge after the R&D phase will also be suitable for use outside of soilless agriculture, thanks to the domestic software and hardware it contains. In addition, thanks to the sensors used, it will provide error-free operation for long periods and easy calibration, while sensitive dosing will be possible thanks to the peristaltic pumps used. In this way, with domestic production, a device that can be reached by every user in the field of soilless agriculture, which is one of the most popular areas of the agricultural sector, and that will optimize time and cost in product cultivation will be obtained.
MARELUX TECHNOLOGY
Autonomous systems are systems that minimize human errors and harm to people in the areas where they are used. Unmanned sea vehicles will also be among the technology trends of the future in the sector, as they reduce innovation, labor and cost in the sector in which they are used. As stated in the ‘Global Marine Technology Trends 2030’ report, the fishing industry will adopt the technological approach and aim to reduce bycatch, save fuel and time, and reduce the carbon footprint as a requirement of international trade and sustainable development. With the product we have prototyped, we will bring a technological and new product to the fishing industry, while process innovation will be brought to the fishing operation. Our product, which is seen in the world but differs in size and capacity, targets both domestic and foreign markets. Although the first area of use of our product is fishing, it also has a capacity for different useful loads (for example, in-water measurement sensors, bathymetric map equipment, underwater cameras, etc.). Laboratory tests such as EMI/EMC of the prototype, resistance to environmental conditions, impermeability, robustness of the communication network, determination of the limits of data transfer capability, and environmental compatibility on a unit basis of sub-units will be carried out. In parallel with all these, sales, marketing and service networks will be created.
ECO4TECH
The recycling vending machines planned to be implemented with the project will have a technology that is fast, reliable and meets the needs of the age. The machine will have many technological features such as a touch user control screen, product classification with a deep learning model, a pricing system integrated with certain payment systems, embedded system software for the control of mechanical parts, and detection systems of waste occupancy rates.

SOGEP: SINOP RAISES YOUNG BEEKEEPERS
Although Sinop chestnut honey is a product that has been determined to be of high quality by the analyzes made in accredited laboratories and the geographical indication of origin has been registered, it is a product that is produced only by people over the age of 50 in Sinop and cannot obtain sufficient yield per hive due to lack of technical knowledge. In the project carried out;
- Bringing young employment to chestnut beekeeping,
- Increasing the yield with technical/applied trainings and supplying chestnut honey packaged in hygienic conditions to the market,
- Increasing the added value of chestnut honey,
*Contributing to increasing the recognition of Sinop Chestnut Honey, for which the Geographical Indication Registration and SİNATE brand has been obtained, - Continuation of chestnut beekeeping as a cultural value in future generations,
- It is aimed to support rural development and youth employment.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Resource Efficiency and Management Consulting Technical Assistance Program
Within the scope of the 2021 Resource Efficiency and Management Consultancy Technical Assistance Program, an application for accreditation was made to the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) for the analyzes within the scope of Honey and Sea Water. After the application was evaluated by TÜRKAK, SÜBİTAM, which fulfilled the provisions of TS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 “General requirements for the adequacy of testing and calibration laboratories”, received an Accreditation Certificate valid for 4 years in a total of 20 analyzes.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT: MANAGEMENT CONSULTING IN ACCESSING INTERNATIONAL FUNDS
In line with the goal of “increasing the number of projects supported by national and international organizations by 20% until the end of the term” stated in the Objectives and Objectives section of our University’s 2023-2027 Strategic Plan, the sub-title of “Application for international funds” was called within the scope of the North Anatolian Development Agency’s 2023 Management Consultancy Technical Assistance Program. Our application has been accepted. Within the scope of Technical Assistance with a budget of 103,000,00 TL, 1-week practical training will be given to academicians. Then, 6 months of consultancy service will be given to academicians who are willing to prepare projects.
Scientific Research Projects (SRP)
Developing a Model for Increasing Project Productivity of Academic Staff
Boyabat Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Instructor Under the direction of its member Mehmet Samet ERDEM, Türkeli Vocational School Lecturer. See Dr. Şeyhmus AKSOY and Technology Transfer Office Lect. See. BIİBF-1901-21-002 “Developing a Model for Increasing Project Productivity of Academic Staff” project, which Fatma Rabia AKÇATEMİZ was a researcher, was carried out. In the project, it is aimed to develop a measurement tool to increase the project production capacity of the faculty members working at Sinop University and to create a model that includes the intervention proposals that should be applied. The project was carried out in three stages. In the first stage of the project, interviews were held with the University administration, TTO, ERASMUS and BAP units to increase the number of projects produced in Sinop University and how these activities were reflected in the number of projects produced in the units. reflected has been evaluated. In the second stage, qualitative research, interviews were conducted with 11 lecturers from different fields, units and academic titles, through open-ended questions. In the quantitative research phase, which is the third phase of the project; The qualitative data obtained as a result of the interviews conducted with the open-ended question form were transformed into measurable scale items. At this stage, a scale was developed to measure the motivation and attitude of the instructors to produce projects, and a questionnaire was applied to 101 academic staff working at Sinop University. Intention to leave and job satisfaction scales were used to test the criterion validity of the scale. In order to evaluate the discriminant validity, differences in terms of various demographic variables were examined. The results of the factor analysis carried out in the first stage revealed that the project productivity of the lecturers factored in three main sub-dimensions: project motivation, project self-efficacy belief and perceived support from the university. The findings showed that the total project productivity scale and some of its sub-dimensions differed according to demographic variables and revealed that these differences should be taken into account. Along with the study, it was revealed that the psychometric properties of the project productivity scale were appropriate and the scale was applicable in terms of validity and reliability findings. Finally, a model was created that includes the intervention proposals that should be applied to increase the project production capacity of Sinop University.
INNOVATIVE METHODS IN FIGHTING THE WEALTH BEE
The project titled “Innovative Methods in Combating Weevils” is supported by Sinop University BAP Coordinatorship. Lecturer in the Project See. Dr. Engin Bayra Executive, Assoc. Dr. Evrim Sonmez, Dr. Instructor Member Ömer Elkıran and entomologist Gülçin Küçükbaş work as researchers. Within the scope of the project, this scientific study, which will be implemented for 24 months in 2023-2024, will try to investigate the possibilities of biological control.
